Momma is our Whiskers of the Week!

Momma is a lovely, affectionate gray tabby polydactyl, around 20 months old. Unfortunately, this is Momma's second stay at SCAC. She originally arrived with her daughter on May 5 via owner surrender. Her daughter was adopted very quickly, as kittens often are. We were happy when Momma was adopted on May 25, and so sad when she was returned on July 24, again through no fault of Momma's. We are hoping that her true family will come in soon to meet this sweet girl, who doesn't understand why she is back here in a cage again. Momma will go to her true forever home spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated appropriate to age (for only $25 during the SCAC Adoption Special!). She is negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). She is waiting for you at Sangamon County Animal Control in Springfield, IL.
